Sushiko Celebrates Eel in August

Since the early 19th century of the Edo period, it has been a Japanese custom to eat eel to regain energy and stamina during the hot summer months. With its high protein content and excellent digestive properties, eel can stimulate the appetite even during the blazing heat of summer.
