Executive Editor and CEO Mark is a journalist and movie buff. Before leading DC on Heels, he worked as a reporter and editor at several publications, including McGraw-Hill. He has a master’s degree in Interactive Journalism from American University, and has been working with social media for years. He has also designed webpages for D.C.-area non-profits.

Vanessa Camozzi

Founder Vanessa is a self-professed pop culture junkie and lover of all things food, fashion and entertainment. In May 2013, Vanessa and her husband packed up their belongings and headed south — way south — to Argentina where they now own Fukuro Noodle Bar, a ramen restaurant in Buenos Aires. If you are ever in Buenos Aires, stop by and say hi.

Fave heel: Vanessa’s favorite pair of heels is a neon pair of Brian Atwood pumps. They are bright, beautiful and bold!

During the week, she is an editor for trade associations, but on the weekends you can find her hiking up trails with the latest fitness gadgets then getting ready for a night out using the latest beauty and health products that her friends and family have been raving about. She enjoys the little things in life, such as homemade lemonade, puppies and holding hands.
