The scent wears off about after about 2 hours and then stays on light, but it smells potent when applying. Since it glides on easily, you will be probably use a lot of it, so buy it in a bundle pack. Tips for getting your best tan
Using either of the above sunscreen lotions will keep your skin safe and smelling like a beachy day, but there are also other things you can do to ensure you get the best tan. The first is to always exfoliate your skin, because if you tan on skin that is not fresh or new and was about to fall off, then your tan will have been for nothing. Make sure you are freshly shaved, got a new facial and that you have dry brushed your skin to prep it for tanning.
For acne-sufferers, all the ingredients in acne products make skin even more sensitive to the sun because of the harsh chemicals and ingredients. If you know you will be spending a week at the beach, try to lay off or use only half of the acne products you use one week prior so that your skin will no burn as easily.
Fruits and veggies that are red and orange, which have lycopene in them, help to prepare the skin for tanning since lycopene darkens your skin when eaten regularly in your diet. The foods warm up your skin tone, so be sure to include some tomatoes, watermelon, mangoes, grapefruit, carrots and red peppers in your diet to give some warmth to your skin before your tanning process begins.
