Planning the Perfect Fall Date

Fall is here in full force! Butternut squash soup, pumpkin spice lattes and everything you can wish for is back as we settle into October. For many, this is their favorite dating time of the year. It is still nice out, and you only need a light sweater during the day. At night, the chilly air is a great excuse to cuddle.

Plus, there are so many fall-centric activities that can be turned into fun dates. But with so many ideas and so little fall, I have compiled the top three fall dates for you to start planing before winter comes:

Field of screams

There are thrilling date options if you and a significant other are looking for a spooky time. From haunted trails and houses to corn mazes and hayrides, you are sure to jump and leave screaming. You will be holding hands together by the end of the night.

Picking season

If scary business isn’t for you, try something more traditional. Apple picking and pumpkin patches are a great date day activity to do with someone special. You can even take it further and bake or crave what you pick and ensure the date lasts into the night. Make sure to take a picture of your final masterpieces together.

Netflix and eat

Let’s talk Halloween movies. There are like a million out there, and if you are trying to watch them all with your partner, you are already late to the party. Plan movie nights where you stay in and be lazy together. Chow down on favorite fall snacks. Get the hot cider ready and try not to spill it when you jump at each scary scene.

There are so many fun fall activities, so the only way you are doing it wrong is if you don’t do any at all. So make sure you take advantage of these October weekends and fill up your calendars ASAP. Just bring someone you truly care about, and it is destined to be a great date.
