Relieving the New Year’s Eve Pressure

New Year’s Eve is upon us, and everyone is rushing around to tie up loose ends in 2016. Whether it be finding the perfect dress and a matching date, or securing last minute plans, everyone is getting ready to welcome in the new year. But if we could worry about one less thing, wouldn’t that make life a lot less stressful? But what do you drop?

There is no right answer, but if I had to pick if would be the kiss. Why worry about finding a date or a random person to hook up with when the clock strikes midnight? It is unnecessary stress. If you don’t stress over kissing someone on a daily basis, why start seconds before the new year?

Here are three other things to do instead of stressing over the infamous New Year’s Eve kiss.

Just dance!

With no one to impress, you can freely dance the night away. Take over the dance floor with friends and stay up all night. It maybe take two to tango, but only one to party.

Photo opps

Capture the midnight moment with plenty of photos. By not being tongue tied, you will have the chance to take plenty of photos with your favorite people. So ditch the dude and smile for the photo opp.

Party hop

With no one tying you down, you don’t need to commit to just one plan. You can bounce around as much as you want and stop by all the hottest parties. Forget the anchor and sail free into the new year.

A kiss doesn’t seal the deal for an amazing new year. Go kiss-less and be proud. If you already have 99 problems don’t make a kiss one. But most of all, have a happy carefree New Year!
