Which Type of Couple Are You?
Love is wonderful, but very complicated. Not every relationship is the same, and that’s okay. No love is greater than the other, so you need to be open to the fact that not every couple is like you.
You see it everywhere from television to the real world. On the television show Total Bellas, you see a set of twins in totally different relationships. One couple is simple, while the other is extravagant. And that isn’t just on screen, because we all know various types of couples in real life.
What category do you and your significant fall into? Here are some of the popular couple stereotypes you see every day:
The best friend couple
This couple is envied by most. While they are romantic and sweet, they are genuinely best friends. They love hanging with each other and balance each other out.
The chill couple
This couple is as cool as a cucumber. Everything seems to always run smoothly with them, and you wonder if they ever fight at all. These couples are great double dates because they always agree on plans and rarely ever cause drama.
The party couple
Going out with this couple is never boring. They vibe off each other’s energy and can make any function a fun time. They are the life of the party whether they are drunk or sober.
The superficial couple
This couple believes bigger is better. They only like the finer things in life and aren’t afraid to brag. You love them, but hate them. That’s okay because they don’t care either way. The only thing not superficial about this couple is their love for each other.
The nature couple
This is your peace-loving, hippie-living couple. They love the earth and all things organic. Sometimes you think they care a little too much about certain issues, but you are happy they found someone equally as passionate about such things.
The ying and yang couple
This couple is polar opposites. When you look at them individually, you would never see them going together, but somehow it works. You are honestly surprised they have been together for so long. Yet they are living proof that opposites do attract.
The kinky couple
We all know that couple that puts everything out there. They openly talk about their sex life to everyone and anyone willing to listen. They are always on top of the newest bedroom trends, and you look to them for pleasurable advice.
Sometimes you fall under one specific category. Other times you see yourself in multiple categories. Either way, we have all seen these couples and may or may not have passed judgement on them for not being like you and your significant other. But you should brush off your differences and just accept love in all its various forms. Plus, if you are accepting of more couples, you open yourself up to so many more double date options!
