Season 5 and 11 contestants will attend

Dan and Jackie Evans, from Season 5 of the NBC show The Biggest Loser organize the runs across the country. The run/walk is a non-intimidating environment with a longer time limit to allow runners and walkers to complete the race at their own pace.

The mother-son duo will be cheering on participants on race day and Dan, who is now a Nashville recording artist, will perform at the end of the race. While on the Biggest Loser ranch, Dan lost 136 pounds and Jackie lost 89. Since losing a combined 225 pounds, they have been canvassing the country and keeping the weight off through nutrition and running. In 2011, the pair ran over 20 half marathons while promoting the benefits of exercise and healthy eating habits.
