“Hey, Macklemore! Can we go thrift shopping?”
This week, Goodwill of Greater Washington has asked a team of regional bloggers to share their story in the #blog4good campaign. And, this is their story:

Did you know that the mission of one of your favorite thrift shops is to “provide free job training and employment service to people with disabilities and disadvantages”? So, by shopping at Goodwill, you get to look good on the cheap, and you get to do good for the community? Sign us up!
Countless men and women have and continue to receive help achieving their employment goals. Goodwill has discovered that the people they serve “want to work, but lack the skills, education, resources or opportunity.” In 2012 alone, Goodwill trained and placed 3,200 people in the D.C. area. Here is the powerful story of one of those people, Milton Ridgeway:
In honor of Goodwill’s mission and influence on the community, we chose a few must-have work outfits from Pinterest and used them as inspiration as we surfed the local Goodwill. And, this is what we found:
