Household Items Can Give You Pink Lips

Smoking, consuming alcohol and trying out different cosmetics on your lips can make them look dark and unhealthy.
It is easy and inexpensive to add pink coloring to your lips following simple tips that will make your lips softer. And, making your own all-natural treatments at home allows you to avoid the chemicals in retail lip treatments. With a little bit of care, you can achieve pink, luscious and attractive lips.
Treatments for pink lips
There are many ways to get pink lips buy using the natural products you have around your house. Create a mixture of equal parts of tomato paste and heavy cream, and apply to lips daily to add pink color to lackluster lips. The red coloring of the tomatoes will be transferred to the skin of your lips. Another great way to achieve pink lips is to mix two or three raspberries mixed with a spoon of aloe vera gel and a drop of honey.
Maintain the pink glow of your lips by mixing red rose petals with heavy cream and apply this coloring to your lips. You will see your lips become soft and pink. Or grate some beet and squeeze out the juice. This applied to the lips will definitely give you soft, pink lips.
Coriander juice, carrot juice and mint juice are all beneficial for soft and pink lips. Apply natural lemon juice to dark lips to lighten them. Half a teaspoon of olive oil, sugar and honey, mixed well and applied on lips will pinken and soften lips. You can further exfoliate dead skin, revealing soft, smooth lips by gently rubbing your toothbrush over your lips every time you brush your teeth. Regular use of Vaseline or petroleum jelly will keep the lips soft at all times.
Applying the cream from boiled milk, moisturizes the lips and keeps them soft.
Homemade lip balm
Making a simple homemade lip balm with a pink tint is easy. Mix 1 tablespoon shortening with 1 teaspoon pink- or red-colored, unsweetened drink mix for a flavorful pink lip balm. Create another homemade lip balm by mixing equal parts of cranberry juice for pink color with Vaseline for moisture. Store your homemade lip balm in a jar with an airtight lid.
Avoid negative habits
Smoking reduces the rich, pink color of the lips. Also, overexposure to sun can lead to sunburn of the lips, so make sure to apply a lip covering with SPF prior to spending time in the sun. Dehydration also reduces the healthy coloring of your lips, so drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water every day for soft, supple lips.
