Spring Forward
Spring is the air (finally) and last Monday night was a ripe time for Old Town Alexandria’s Boutique District to host a season opener party. The handful of times I’ve gone to Old Town, it’s always been intimate and I’m left with pleasant memories. Pretty much everyone’s welcoming, just like the weather!
So ladies, it’s time to get out the sundresses and pair them with some hot heels or a bright lip. I’m seeing a lot of corals and neons this year for some pop of color. Remember it’s a pop, not splashed everywhere. Just smell wear the flowers and dress for warmth, figuratively. Lace from previous seasons can be recycled, and you know those stripes preppy Washingtonians love so much will carry into summer.
Here are some shopping guidelines:
- Dress up while shopping
- Have no shame going to the sale section; don’t buy full price
- If the outfit you’re trying on looks better than the one before you entered the dressing room, buy it
- Invest in staples and go with cheaper brands for trend items
HAPPY SPRING SHOPPING SAVINGS – GO FORTH & BE FASHIONABLE!
