Area Eateries Offer Election Day Deals

Several area restaurants are offering election day deals on Nov. 5, but first you have to vote.

Getting to the polls

To get you to the polls, rideshare companies are offering 50% off rides to vote.

Uber is offering 50% discount (up to $10) on a ride to the polls when you book a ride using its “Go Vote” feature, which will pop up in the app. Enter your address to find your polling place. Your ride will take you directly to your local voting center starting at 4 a.m.

Lyft is also offers half off (up to $10) a rideshare, bike share or scooter ride to the pole. Preload the code VOTE24 into your Lyft app to get the discount from 5 a.m.-10 p.m.

Election Night specials

  • The Admiral, 1 Dupont Circle NW, is showing the election results on multiple TVs in its bar and patio with any burger, fries and a 16-ounce brew for $17.99, $5.75 draft refills and election-themed cocktails for $6.
  • All-Purpose and AP Pizza Shop, 1250 Ninth St. NW, 79 Potomac Ave. SE and 4747 Bethesda Ave., Bethesda, are holding a poll of their own. To “vote,” order any of the competing pies — the Standard (Bianco di Natoli tomatoes, mozzarella, grana Padano), Buona (tomato, mozzarella, pepperoni, Calabrian chili honey, fresh basil) or Sedgwick (whipped ricotta, mozzarella, taleggio, parmesan, black truffle honey) — through the All-Purpose and AP Pizza Shop websites. Those who cast a ballot in favor of the most-ordered pizza will win a complimentary drink ticket for their next trip to either restaurant.

  • All Set, 8630 Fenton Street, Plaza 5, Silver Spring, is offering a free happy hour cocktail or The Concept of an Orange Drink, with Jameson Orange, orange liqueur, orange juice and orange soda with the purchase of any food to diners who mention voting or wear their “I Voted” sticker.
  • American Ice Co., 917 V St. NW, and The Brighton, 949 Wharf St. SW, are hosting watch parties with swing state raffles with red and blue Jell-o shot prizes, happy hour prices all night, $7 wine, $5 glasses and $15 pitchers of Narragansett, and a $10 election-themed cocktail starting at 9 p.m.
  • Art and Soul, 415 New Jersey Ave. NW, is offering $5 draft beer, glass of wine or house cocktail with your “I Voted” sticker.
  • Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken, 1308 G St. NW and 4001 Campbell Ave., Arlington, is offering a dozen patriotically-decorated mini doughnuts in five flavors – vanilla, crème brulee, candy apple, pumpkin pie and chocolate chip for $35. They will also have an “I Voted” vanilla doughnut for $4.95. Order ahead to guarantee you get some. Orders must be placed by 2 p.m. for next-day pickup.
  • Bluejacket, 300 Tingey St. SE #160, has Last Word, Old Fashioned and Hugo Spritz cocktails for $9, beers Yesterdays (IPA) and Tomorrow, Today (fruited sour) for $5 and a Malort shot for $3 starting at 11 a.m.
  • Boundary Stone, 116 Rhode Island Ave. NW, will run its happy hour deals all night, offer $6 and $10 select beers and wines and serve Kamala’s Coconut Daiquiri, featuring Cotton & Reed rum, and a Palat Cleanser Shot with vodka, cantaloupe, cucumber, lemon and sugar from 8-11:30 p.m. Tuesday night trivia will carry on as usual at 6 p.m. with a political theme.
  • Busboys and Poets is hosting a free watch party with happy hour food and drink special and election night activities at all eight locations starting at 7 p.m. “until a new president is declared.” Emma’s Revolutions will perform live at the 14th & V Streets NW location. Show your “I Voted” sticker and get 10 percent off.
  • Buzz Bakeshop, 901 Slaters Lane, Alexandria, is giving away a free cookie with your “I Voted” sticker.

  • ChurchKey, 1337 14th St. NW, has $5 draft American lagers and ales and an Election Day menu including plain flatbread for $10 and a “bipartisan” flatbread topped half-and-half with duck confit and roasted pumpkin for $15.
  • Cork Wine Bar and Market, 1805 14th St. NW, hosts a watch party starting at 5 p.m. featuring specials like a cheese plate for $2.70, the All-American Wine Flight for $20.24 and a fried chicken and bubbles pairing for $47 with four pieces of fried chicken and two glasses of California bubbly to honor the 47th president.
  • Cucina Morini, 901 Fourth St. NW, is holding a cocktail competition pitting two limited-time martinis against one another. One candidate is fruity and floral made with grapefruit-infused tequila, dry vermouth and aperitivo rosato, while the other features tequila, sweet vermouth and pepper brine. Both are $7. The winning drink will be awarded a permanent place on the bar menu. Plus, the restaurant’s $7 martini specials will extend to the main bar from 5-10 p.m.
  • Dave & Buster’s, six locations in the DMV, is offering half-priced games, $5 beers and $5 late night bites all day. Also, the Eat, Drink, Play Combo Meal will be available for $19.99, which includes a $10 power card, choice of entrée and a fountain drink.
  • Fresh Baguette is giving any visitor a free mini pasty just for saying “Vote” at checkout at all seven DMV locations, while supplies last. Choose from options like caramel or yuzu lemon meringue tarts, or chocolate, vanilla and coffee éclairs.
  • The Golden Age, 1725 Connecticut Ave. NW, will give $2 off craft cocktails, wine and beer all night until a winner is declared or the restaurant closes.
  • Immigrant Food, 4245 N. Fairfax Drive, Arlington, hosts a watch party with half off all bottles of wine from 5-10 p.m. Also, stop by any location in Ballston, Planet Word, Union Market or near the White House with your “I Voted” sticker and get a free agua da Jamaca with purchase.
  • Johnny Rockets, 1501 Rhode Island Ave. NW and 6800 Oxon Hill Road, Tanger Outlets Suite 7700, Oxon Hill, is giving a free milkshake with any purchase when you mention “Free Shake” in-store.
  • La Bise, 800 Connecticut Ave. NW Suite 600, is giving a free glass of sparkling wine with your “I Voted” sticker.

  • Le Diplomate, 1601 14th St. NW, is offering a home watch party snack pack featuring soppressata, fennel salami, a selection of three cheeses and preserves, two demi baguettes, marinated olives, gougeres, mixed nuts and madeleine cakes. The bundle, which will arrive inside a branded, insulated bag, also includes an imprinted cheeseboard, knife and a pack of tissues. Priced at $125, it will be available for delivery via Doordash.
  • Lazy Dog Reataurant, 11963-U Fair Oaks Shopping Center, Fairfax, or 14333 Newbrook Dr., Chantilly, will give a free lemonade, twisted soda or sparkling refresher nonalcoholic beverage with your “I Voted” sticker and an entrée purchase.
  • Little Miner Taco is offering 24-cent Americano tacos with ground beef, jack cheese, salsa roja, cilantro, onion and a side of beef consume at any of its shops or trucks with the purchase of a Fiesta Box. Which feeds two, four or six people with the same number of discounted tacos available per box.
  • Lucy, 1350 Florida Ave. NW, will offer complimentary aperol spritzes to guests sporting “I Voted” stickers. The cocktail bar and restaurant will also honor Vice President Kamala Harris’ favorite pie with a special anchovy pizza ($23) topped with confit cherry tomatoes, garlic, Sicilian anchovies, oregano, capers, Gaeta olives and smoked mozzarella through Election Day.
  • Lulu’s Winegarden’s, 1940 11th St. NW, will host a free Election Night Trivia & Poll Watch Party from 7-9 p.m. with discounted Aperol Spritzes, fizzy wines and beer with live poll results on the U Street bar’s TVs. Trivia will feature political and Presidential-themed questions, and is free to play with prizes to win.
  • Metrobar, 640 Rhode Island Ave. NE, will be open (it is normally closed on Tuesdays) with a free election night party with Harris-themed drink specials from 4-11 p.m. with the results displayed on its 20-foot projector screen.
  • Purple Patch,3155 Mt. Pleasant St. NW, is offering $8 or $10 pours of specialty sherry. Election coverage will be on the TVs and the sound will be turned on at 8 p.m.
  • The Roost, 1401 Pennsylvania Ave. SE, hosts a watch party starting at 11 a.m. “with the sound on” the TVs with $5 lagers, $9 margaritas, $10 wings (six pieces) in your choice of three flavors and $15 16-inch, one-topping pizzas.
  • Royal Sands Social Club, 26 N St. SE, is having a watch party with $6 Modelo drafts, $10 frozen drinks, $9.50 draft cocktails, $6 themed cocktails, $2 off sushi rolls and a $10.50 slider trio. Results will be on all the TVs with the full audio on.
  • Rustico, 827 Slaters Lane, Alexandria, is giving a free draft beer with your “I Voted” sticker.

  • Shaw’s Tavern, 520 Florida Ave. NW, is hosting an election night watch party for $99 from 7-11 p.m. You get a four-hour open bar, a buffet dinner and passed hors d’oeuvres while news coverage plays on TVs. Tickets are available on Eventbrite. Cash bar after 11 p.m.
  • Slice & Pie, 2221 14th St. NW, is offering guests wearing “I Voted” stickers a complimentary cheese slice or pie with the purchase of another slice or pie through Nov. 5.
  • The Sovereign, 1206 Wisconsin Ave. NW, is extending its $6 happy hour all night with a selection of draft beefs, wines and spirits, as well as snacks, such as loaded fries with beef and mushroom cream sauce, roasted Brussel sprouts and Belgian meatballs. Just for the night, there is a $6 Belgian Non-Partisan cocktail with vodka, Dutch curacao, lime, cranberry and a Kriek foam.
  • Teddy & The Bully Bar, 1200 19th St. NW, is offering an extended happy hour pricing from 3-8 p.m., a complimentary one-hour buffet stacked with bar bites like wings and sliders from 4-5 p.m., $1.50 oysters from 5-7 p.m. and election=-themed cocktails from 3 p.m.-close. Teddy Roosevelt himself will make an appearance around 5 p.m.
  • Thompson Restaurants including Makers Union, Matchbox, Hen Quarter, Milk & Honey, Big Buns and Wiseguy Pizza are offering your meal with your “I Voted” sticker.
  • Tiki TNT, 1130 Maine Ave. SW, will run happy hour from noon-6 p.m. with cocktails starting at $7 and beers at $5. Show your “I Voted” sticked and get a TNT Problem Forgetter with bourbon, three types of rum, apricot liqueur, honey an lime for $5 from noon-8 p.m.
  • Uber Eats is offering a 25 percent up to $15 on orders of at least $25 after 6 p.m.
  • Union Pub, 201 Massachusetts Ave. NE, is serving election-themed menu specials starting at 11 a.m., including the $15 JD’s Couch Potato Martini, the $12cDirty Walz cocktail, the $13 They’re Eating the Dogs mini chicken corndogs and the $12 Kamala is Brat bratwurst special. Also, beginning at 5 p.m., orders of the $10 blue, red and purple drinks will count toward the “270 Challenge” — if 270 of the vodka cocktails are sold by the end of the night, the entire bar will get a round of shots.
  • Van Leeuwen Ice Cream, 269 19th Court S. Suite 80, Arlington, or any of its six D.C. locations, is serving $3 scoops with your “I Voted” sticker. You can also get a free topping.
  • Wundergarten, 1101 First St. NE, will host a watch party with drink specials from 5-11:30 p.m.
