In fact, many people think of curls as playful and fun, there are worse ways to be perceived.

Of course, if you embrace your curls and then your hair starts to go flat, you have good reason to worry. Fortunately, there is an easy way to restore your natural curls.

Review your product use

Unless you have oily hair, you should be able to wash it every other day and still retain hair that looks great. As part of this, you will want to see what products you are currently using. Cheaper products are likely to have harsh chemicals in them. They will make your hair feel clean, but the chemicals will damage your hair.

That is why you need to choose a product that uses natural ingredients. Take a look at the Kerastase range, the products are natural and designed for different types of hair. Simply choose one that specializes in curly hair.

If you follow the instructions, you will find your hair looks cleaner and feels healthier than ever. Best of all, you will save on product and therefore money by using it every other day, instead of every day. Over shampooing can cause dryness, which will make your hair easier to damage and lose its curls.

Drop your heat styling tools

Just as a harsh chemical shampoo can strip moisture from your hair, so can your heated styling tools. To help restore your curls you need to stop stripping the moisture from your hair. Ideally, stop using all heat styling tools for a couple of weeks. If this isn’t possible, then try giving them up a couple of times a week and always use heat protection spray.

Add protein

Your hair is mainly water and protein. Now that you are reducing the amount of water being lost, you should focus on adding protein to your hair. You can do this by increasing the amount of protein in your diet. It is also possible to make your own protein wash and apply it to your hair as a mask treatment.

You will need to mix an egg with half an avocado, a little olive oil, coconut milk and a few drops of your favorite essential oils. Blend it all, then apply it to your hair to improve protein content and strengthen your hair.

The stronger your hair, the easier it will be to naturally bring back the curls.

Get a trim

In many cases, the lack of curls is most noticeable at the bottom of your hair, which is where it is developing split ends and becoming brittle. Get a trim and you will remove these damaged hairs, allowing your body to focus on growing new and healthier hairs, which have a natural curl.

Remember, it can take time to get your curls back, but you are not just restoring curls. You are also improving the health of your hair.
