Always Follow These Easy Skincare Tips
With the increasing obsession of getting a smooth, clear and glowy skin, people have started to incorporate several beauty regimes, expensive skincare products and skincare sessions into their routines. However, doing so is completely optional.
You can follow only a few basic steps and use pocket-friendly products to have supple, soft skin or you can spend several thousand dollars for the perfect skin but still be not satisfied with the results. One of the most basic steps is to wash your face twice a day and exfoliate every week.
Here are some basic tips and tricks to keep the skin healthy, along with Korean skincare, which are mentioned below:
Always remove your makeup
You went to a party applying layers of makeup to look your best. But when you arrive home, you feel too tired and go to sleep without removing the makeup. This is a horror for your skin because your foundation is a layer on your skin that prevents it from breathing. Additionally, it may result in clogged pores causing blackheads and blemishes.
If you feel too lazy to get up and remove the makeup, keep a pack of cotton pads and your makeup remover/oil/cleansing lotion near your bed always. This way, you will never skip removing your makeup.
You are what you eat, and your skin clearly reflects it. Eat green vegetables, fresh fruits, sufficient vitamins and proteins, and foods rich in Vitamin C to let your skin repair and glow on its own.
If you eat a lot of sugar, fried food, spicy food, citrus food and fermented food, you will end up with frequent breakouts. Food impacts the skin so much that many people have stopped consuming dairy completely to prevent breakouts and acne on their skin.
Get regular exercise
Exercising regularly is not just good for your body, but also for your skin as it increases blood circulation. It also cleanses your body on a regular basis. Toxins are another reason why your skin appears to be dull.
However, if you exercise regularly, you would need to exfoliate your skin regularly to wash out the dirt, dust and sweat. You will also need to apply a toner after washing your face to avoid oil buildup. And whenever you come back sweating, wash your face thoroughly so that the dirt does not settle on your face.
Sleep for at least 8 hours
Sleeping helps with stress and anxiety. Sleeping refreshes your body. Similarly, it refreshes your skin as well, eliminating eye bags and dark circles. This is because when you are asleep, your body recovers and repairs itself. In fact, if you end up sleeping for less than 6 hours each day, you will start noticing the difference. First, you will develop dark circles and puffy eyes; second, your skin will start looking tired.
Additionally, your skin makes new collagen while you are asleep, and the production of collagen means youthful skin. This is why several beauticians, actors, beauty bloggers emphasize on sleeping for at least 8 hours each day.
