Products to Zap a Pimple Within Hours

We all know acne is a struggle. Then there is that nasty little pimple that comes unexpectedly and is bright red right in the middle of your forehead making it look like you have a bindi (bindis are much cuter than bright red, inflamed skin).

I know that I have acne, and that it is daily maintenance I need to do, but every now and then I get a bright, red blemish that is puffed up in a very noticeable spot. They pop up in the middle of my forehead, on my chin or on the side of my lips. It is not pleasant looking at all, and when you cover it with makeup you hide the red, but there is still a visible, skin-colored bump on your skin.

Those blemishes are bright red because they are parts of your skin that have become inflamed and filled with bacteria. They appear randomly and noticeably because excess oil has gotten trapped in your pore, and the only way your skin can react is my becoming inflamed. It is not a good idea to pop the pimples that are bright red and raised, because doing so will leave your skin scarred.

They are not ready to come out as whiteheads or blackheads are, so the best solution is to zap them overnight with the best ingredients possible. If you use the right overnight treatments, you can actually zap those within hours.

Below you will find some tried-and-true products that work to take away that nightmarish zit:

Clinique Acne Solutions Emergency Gel Lotion

Clinique Acne Solutions Emergency Gel-Lotion uses benzoyl peroxide, which works extremely well on those random pimples that pop up out of nowhere. Benzoyl peroxide has more of a burning effect then salicylic acid, meaning it is stronger and, depending on the percentage of benzoyl peroxide a product has, you can rest assured that your zit will be minimal or completely gone in the morning.

Murad Acne Treatment Concealer is great because you can wear it to work and let it work its magic all day long. This product includes potent salicylic acid along with a powerhouse blend of healthy vitamins such as Vitamin A, C, E, and green tea.
