10th Anniversary Brewer’s Ball Is Saturday

The 10th anniversary of the Brewer’s Ball returns this Saturday, Mar. 7, to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Imagine struggling for every breath you take – something most people don’t have to think twice about. For those with cystic fibrosis, this simple act is a daily battle.

Brewer’s Ball is the craft brew gala of the season! Mingle with supporters and D.C.’s elite while enjoying an evening of live entertainment and one of the region’s most memorable silent auctions. Last year’s ball raised more than $275,000.

The event offers the opportunity to sample a variety of hand crafted beers from more than 35 craft breweries. Local favorites like Bluejacket, Mad Fox Brewery, Port City, Heavy Seas and Flying Dog will rub elbows with nationally renowned brands like Dogfish Head, Goose Island, Ommegang, Lagunitas and Allagash. Representatives from many of the breweries will be on-hand to chat about the beers they’re serving, which gives both beer aficionados and beginners plenty of chances to ask questions and learn more about the beer and breweries. If you’re not a beer fan, Total Wine & More will be serving several wine selections and the Cocktail Guru will be pouring a beer-inspired cocktails and mocktails for the designated drivers.
