Enjoy D.C. Restaurant Week
D.C. Restaurant Week is here! Why not take your sweetie out on the town for a delicious prix fixe dinner? Here are my favorite picks to check out next week. Each participating restaurant will be serving a prix fixe dinner and lunch menu Aug. 19-25. Lunch menus will be $20.13 and dinner menus will be $35.13.
El Centro D.F.
1819 14th St NW
Recently named one of D.C.’s best rooftop bars, El Centro D.F., located in the U Street neighborhood also features a spectacular dining menu. Sip El Centro Margaritas while sharing a bowl of fresh guacamole with your significant other and you’ll be sure to make your evening out a little more caliente.
The Oceanaire Seafood Room
1201 F St. NW
Seeking fresh seafood? No problem. Take your date downtown to The Oceanaire Seafood Room. The noise level is not bad so you’ll be able to have great conversation over your three courses. Be sure to save room for dessert because this restaurant has delicious dessert options.
Ristorante Piccolo
1068 31st St. NW
This charming Italian restaurant is located right off M Street in Georgetown. Be sure to make reservations for this popular restaurant as tables go quickly. But it’s crowded for a good reason! The food is great and the service is friendly. Fully equipped with a romantic balcony and a violin player, this restaurant is sure to be a hit with your honey.
La Tomate
1701 Connecticut Ave. NW
Located in the heart of Dupont Circle, La Tomate is an Italian restaurant with a romantic ambiance. The patio is perfect for couples looking to people watch and enjoy the D.C. vibe. If you are seeking a more private setting, the upper level features quiet, intimate tables.
Thunder Burger and Bar
3056 M St. NW
For those rockin’ couples, Thunder Burger Bar in Georgetown is an awesome option. It has a great selection of burgers and fries that go great with a cold beer. But don’t confuse this restaurant with a dive bar. This edgy restaurant makes it a great place for your next date.
