VANESSA’S ACCESSORIZE STYLE QUIZ:

1.One word to describe your look: Glamtastic (equal parts glamorous and fantastic.)

2.Your favorite thing about accessories is… Accessories are FUN and add life to any outfit, in fact they can make or break an outfit. If you have a plain jane outfit on with nice simple clean lines– accessories can easily glam it up and instantly play up your look. Whether its your LBD or just a plain t-shirt with jeans adding accessories will give you a boost.

3.Your accessorizing style secret is… Layering eclectic pieces together. Don’t be afraid to pair a leather wrist bracelet with a soft feminine piece. I love to wear something super edgy and then pair it up with something soft and flirty. And take chances!

4.I am currently obsessed with… Supersized cocktail rings (worn on the index finger.)The right manicure and the right ring can add a lot of pizzaz to any outfit.

5.How would accessorize the LBD? Every girl should have her go-to LBD. Because it’s simple sophisticated and usually clean lined, I love to wear a statement necklace that really plays up my LBD.  If I wear a statement necklace, then I usually go with  subtle earrings, or if I choose the earrings I go for a more simple sophisticated necklace. But whatever you do–MAKE A STATEMENT with your pieces.

6.What is the one accessory you cannot live without? Earrings! They frame your face add texture, dimension and a pop of color. I don’t know what I would do without my sterling silver hoops.

7.What are your must have accessories of the season? A good hat. Don’t be afraid to play around with different styles of hats–fedoras, beanies, knit caps–WHICHEVER. Hats make a statement. There’s a reason its customary in England to wear a hat to a wedding–because they are fabulous!

8.What accessory should every girl own? Scarves. They are versatile, add color and can be worn with a casual look or a more glamorous played up look. They keep you warm in the winter and warm in the summer –from all that air conditioning. It’s so much fun to play around with the different colors and fabrics of a scarf.

9.Who is your style icon? I have many. But my top three are Jennifer Lopez, Victoria Beckham and Elizabeth Taylor.

….and why? J-Lo is bold and daring. Posh Spice is simple and sophisticated and Elizabeth Taylor is and will always be the most gorgeous glamorous woman in my book.

10.Whose wardrobe would you like to raid? If I had to choose between all of my style icons I would choose Jennifer Lopez because her looks are  daring, versatile and glamorous.

11.What accessory would you wear on a night out? Well I never leave home without my heels and on a night out I have to be wearing a stunning pair of earrings and my cocktail ring.

12. How do you make a style or trend your own? Just be true to yourself and be confident wearing whatever it is you choose. Not EVERYONE has to love what you chose. As long as you love it then that’s all that matters. I am a huge fan of mixing metals. Rose gold, silver and gold look stunning when they are combined. You have to stay true to what you like, in my case it’s mixing and combining different elements to form a fun flirty, glamorous look.

13. What’s your favorite color(s) to accessorize with? There is something about red that is just so bold and beautiful. I am a brunette and I think that having dark hair and pairing it up with such a bright and vibrant color compliment each other so well. Red is fun, flirty and glamorous.
