9 Ways to Be a Chic Biker Chick

Just because you are a biker chick doesn’t mean you can’t look stunning. There is more to the biker chick than meets the eye. Maybe you could change everyone’s mind by showing them you can be a girly girl and a biker babe at the same time. Here are nine ways you can be a biker chick and still have a chic and elegant appearance:

Black goes with everything

I understand that some biker chicks like to wear black every day. If that is so, you don’t have to limit yourself to black t-shirts and hoodies, you can wear black dresses and black jackets. The color black surprisingly exudes a radiance of elegance.

Leather jackets

One fashion trend that doesn’t seem to go out of style is the good old leather jacket. Now while you may already have a jacket, a biker’s leather jacket can be different. Pair it with a white t-shirt and you have got yourself a killer outfit. Leather jackets can be worn a million ways, find the right one for yourself and go with it. I also suggest you pick one of the best motorcycle helmets for women.

Accessorize

Accessories make an outfit come together. Try on rings, necklaces and even a few bracelets. But make sure you are comfortable riding with them on. The right accessories have the ability to make even the simplest outfit look like something out of a high fashion magazine.

Heeled shoes

Riding in heels makes it a little easier as you gain that extra bit of height. You don’t have to wear stilettoes, even just 2 inches on your boots will make you look chicer than normal. Try not to wear open toed shoes or shoes with dangling parts that could get stuck in the bike.

A bit of makeup

If you really want to look put together even as a motorcycle rider, try investing in some good make up. Even the basics will do like foundation, concealer and eye pencil and a lipstick color that suits your skin tone. If you are afraid of smudging it while wearing a helmet, use setting sprays.

Gloves

Instead of purchasing the regular biking gloves, try investing in a pair that looks good. Maybe even a little faux fur? Fur makes any outfit look elegant.

Eyewear

Although this may seem like accessorizing, choosing a good pair of sunglasses is different. Sure, your helmet may have a visor, but why not buy one without a visor so you can customize what goes on your eyes? Buy sunglasses that are trendy and go well with your face. After all, everyone deserves a good pair of sunglasses.

Pants

It is obvious that bikers will have to wear jeans or special protective pants while riding, but that doesn’t mean you have to all the time. When you aren’t riding a bike, try a ripped or skinny pant. Although ripped pants may give a “not chic” vibe, the trends say otherwise. Skinny jeans, on the other hand, make everyone look good.

Painted nails

There is something about the nude, skin color of nails that looks really good but painted ones look even better. This may seem like a very small detail, but it is the sort that goes a long way. Try darker colors like black or deep blue. The nail polish makes almost every girl’s hands look more graceful.
