A Tanner That Makes Your Legs Look Toned

Skinny Tan is a brand that has several tanning products that combine a natural tanning ingredient with naturally derived skin smoothing ingredients to tan, contour and reduce the visible appearance of cellulite.

I have tried my hand with self-tanners since my legs are as pale as the moonlight hitting the Potomac River. I have suffered through tanners saying they bronze, but ended up with orange-colored legs. However, I love trying products both good and bad and sharing my experiences with you.

I tried Skinny Tan’s 7-Day Tanner, which is supposed to help disguise cellulite and blemishes on your legs and last up to seven days with only just one application.

I am absolutely in awe of this product. I don’t have much cellulite to see a difference in that regard, but what I did notice is that it emphasized my muscles. I work out regularly and am always complaining that I cannot see my leg muscles. This product eliminated those complaints. My thigh muscles were bronzed where there was muscle and the rest of my leg was a nice, caramel color — not orange!

Since this product claims to disguise cellulite and blemishes, it must do it the same way it toned my legs and highlighted the best parts, making any blemishes or imperfections blend into one creamy, chocolate dream. The product also smells of coconut, lime, and caramel, not a nasty chemical smell like other tanners.

I applied the product with the Skinny Tan Applicator Mitt that was included, and it felt like a nice massage putting the tanner on with the mitt. The mitt was very pleasing, not with bristles or pointed teeth, but rather a soft, velcro-like material.

When the product was applied, it looked streaky on my legs, but that is because it applies as a color guide — makeup that later washes off — to help you see where you have already applied it. After waiting five hours or sleeping with it on overnight, you will notice that after your shower, the color is lighter and blended very nicely. The sweet almond oil and guarana ingredients are what reduce the appearance of imperfections once applied.

I didn’t apply the bronzer to my ankles, so I could see how much of a difference the tanner made. In only one application, I had what would take me about four applications to get to with other self tanners. I was amazed.

You can reapply the tanner until you get the shade of bronze that you are looking for. It will continue to blend nicely into your skin because of the color guide (the tan is underneath it and that is what stays on after your shower).

Check out their Valentine’s Day specials with more than half off kits, such as the Valentine’s Day Milk Chocolate Special Kit, the Valentine’s Day Dark Special Kit or the Valentine’s Day Semi Sweet Chocolate Tanning Kit.
