Hand Creams Make the Best Beauty Gift
Oftentimes we have to think of something to get someone we barely know for a gift. Or, we have to put a lot of thought into what gift would be appropriate for someone. Well, for those of you who have not yet figured it out, hand creams make the best gifts, whether it be for someone you barely know or for someone whom you want to show that you put thought into giving a quality gift.

I realized this little beauty gift hack by being gifted luxury hand creams myself. So many times I am at a store and think, “What a great hand cream, but I have so many I can’t splurge on another one.” Then when I was gifted a really nice hand cream, I thought, “Perfect! I need to start gifting hand creams as well so my friends can get to know a great product without spending their own money for their first bottle of it.”
Hand creams are the perfect special occasion gift because everyone uses hand cream. People keep hand creams in their purses, bathrooms, at the kitchen sink and on their vanity. Hand cream is a beauty product that any type of woman can appreciate too. Hands creams are great for women on the go, women in a rush, from artists who paint to nurses who wash their hands many times a day. So, if you gift a hand cream you can be sure that it will not remain unopened and actually be used.
The key to giving a great hand cream that will be used is to giving a luxurious hand cream. Something that will make women think, “Well, gee, I have so many hand creams, but this scent is really unique” or “Wow, I like the look of this one to keep in the guest room.” The key is to have it be a hand cream that can’t be bought at the grocery store, but instead be bought from somewhere that can be a bit of a splurge.
I went to a baby shower and was gifted a LAFCO Champagne Reparative Hand Cream in a 15-ounce pump bottle. This hand cream is made in Italy from all-natural ingredients and had a unique scent that has ginger, grapefruit and raspberry in it. I mean who doesn’t want to know what that smells like? It also has a wow factor with the packaging, because the label isn’t a paper label or stuck on. Rather it is applied by silkscreening the label onto the bottle so that water, sweaty hands or moisture don’t ruin it, making the cute pump bottle always look brand new. The cottonseed and jojoba oils that are in the hand cream also created a long-lasting, silky-smooth barrier that I sort of got addicted to and kept reapplying throughout the day.
LAFCO hand creams come in smaller sizes as well such as the 3.3 ounce tube and with other unique scents as well, like Sea and Dune and Rosemary Eucalyptus. We were all different types of women at the baby shower, but were all excited about looking at our unique scents and eager to start using our new hand cream. Yes, it might cost a bit to splurge on luxury hand creams, but again, you know that they will actually be used.

Another hand cream that makes a good gift is Tocca’s Stella Crema da Mano Luxe, which smells of Italian blood orange. This hand cream absorbs quickly and is made with shea butter, avocado oil and aloe. The labeling for these hand creams is also very vintage and very feminine.
Mistral’s Lychee Rose Hand Cream is a sweet smelling hand cream that uses organic aloe, organic olive oil and 20 percent organic shea butter. If you know your friends are big on organic, you can’t go wrong with this one.
