Making Sports Sexy Again
March Maddness is officially in full swing! Families, friends and work colleagues everywhere are going head-to-head to see if they can guess the Final Four, but even more, the big winner.
While this is all fun and games, what does this mean for your love life? Does this mean intimacy gets put on hold? Of course not! If anything this is an excuse to spice things up.
If you are in a relationship, make sports fun by making it something you share. Whether you are both into it or not, it is a great excuse to go out on a date night to a fun, rowdy place you normally wouldn’t go to, or a fun way to spice up intimacy by making bets in the bedroom.
The worse thing you can do is seperate sports and love, because then you create the situation where your significant other has to pick one or the other. Doing so is so unneccary because even if you are not a sports fan, you can make anything you do together a good time. Plus, showing you care enough to learn about something your partner loves shows how much you care about them in return. And in the end, you may even end up enjoying yourself. Plus, gambling sex instead of money with your partner heats things up!
If you are single, this is a chance to go out to the bar and surround yourself with like-minded sports fantantics. It is an opportunity to get yourself out there in a very social, open environment.
Whether or not you are rooting for the same team, it is a great conversation starter. Plus, you can make bets on who gets to pay for the next round of drinks or first date if things go well. By the end of the night, if you find someone who sparks your interest, the players on the screen may not be the only ones scoring.
The moral of the story is sports are meant to bring people together, not push them apart. If your significant other is really into sports, join the fun and get involved. Show that it can be something you share and both get excited about. It is less about actually caring the game than caring for your loved one. And who knows, it can become something you end up loving too and doing together not apart more often. And if you are single, this is prime time to find your first round pick among a sea of sporty hunks.
