Clarifying Mud Mask Leaves Your Face Soft
Going back and forth from city to city brings different kind of toxins to my face. My face is used to the environmental stressors in the DMV, but when in the bigger city of New York my pores get really clogged because the debris is different there.
My face has been tired and worn out, and I have been wanting to use a facial mask. For the longest time, I have heard about Glamglow’s Supermud Clearing Treatment.
The mask goes on light, which was a nice change instead of those heavy duty-type face masks. It has a minty fresh scent and gets messy pretty easily. Because it is light, it gets all over your fingers, but it makes it easy for it to stick all over your face, which is want you want in a mask.
After a few minutes, the mask turns from a dark green color to a light green. As it is drying, you can see all of your pores open up. It starts to burn a little bit after 3 minutes, but then that went away for me, and I left it on for the full 20 minutes. The mask didn’t dry hard. Instead, it felt like I had nothing on, which led me to realizing I had actually left it on for 40 minutes and freaked out the people that had come into my apartment. Point being, this mask can be kept on for a long time, and it won’t irritate your skin after the initial stinging.
It was easy to wash off, and when I did I noticed 2 things. One was that my pores were still noticeable and did not get smaller, but the second was was that my face was exceptionally soft. I did not need to tone or moisturize after the mask because my face was hydrated and silky smooth. I honestly don’t think I have ever felt my skin that soft.
The mask was developed by Glamglow dermatological chemists with the intent of fighting off a lot of problem skin issues from discoloration and acne to minimizing pores. The mask uses activated-X charcoal, which absorbs toxic substances, making it a potent clearing face mask.
It also left my skin tone a lot lighter too. I felt good knowing that all my makeup was cleaned out because of the mask penetrating deep into my pores.
I will use this mask once a week, and hopefully start to see more results as well. If you are on the lookout for a light, yet potent face mask, check out this one. I wouldn’t recommend this for sensitive skin though due to the initial stinging.
