How to Keep Your Summer Glow All Year

I felt it; the first grips of chilly winds early yesterday morning on a hike. Sadly, it seems summer is slowly fading away and fall will be here in no time. I know I have written about self-tanners to use in the summer before, but I have found that I need something a little less concentrated and more natural looking to use during the fall to help keep my summer glow.

The brand is Tanceuticals and they offer a variety of products for your self-tanning needs. But the one I find particularly best to use year round, to help you keep your summer glow, is CC Self Tanning Body Mousse, which I only have to use once a week, and it keeps my summer glow glistening with a hint of a “dark” tan as the color is named on the bottle. Rest assured that you will be orange-free and will get a nice dark, bronzed color.

Some of the things that are different about this product are that the Tanceuticals brand also includes a plethora of healthy ingredients in their products to not only make your skin look great, but to offer health benefits as well so that you can feel especially great about wearing it year-round.

Acai berry, pomegranate extract and argan oil are among the CC Self Tanning Body Mousse ingredients. These “cosmeceuticals” will keep your skin moisturized, while providing skin-tightening properties and repairing your skin at the same time. They also prevent premature aging, which is a double pro since you are already avoiding those tanning beds by using this product.

The CC part of the name of this product stands for color correct, and it does just that. This mouse will even and tone your skin, which is due in part due to its specific formula that ensures you will get a streak-free application. It also helps to know that there are no harmful ingredients like parabens, mineral oil or propylene glycol in it, so you can apply once a week or however often you need for your skin to keep its summer glow with no fear of any damaging ingredients. And, it smells like coconut, which helps to keep the faded summer memories somewhat close during the colder months.

I recommend using the Tanceuticals self-tanning mitt to apply the mousse to your body. The mitt has a velvety feel that makes application very easy, and you don’t have to worry about any product that may not have come off your hands after washing. All you have to do is take off the mitt, rinse it with cold water and set it to dry.

Summer might be ending, but your summer glow does not have to. Upon first application of this product, you will be 6-8 hours away from noticing the first subtle glow on your skin.
