Five High-End Products Worth the Price
When it comes to beauty, there are tons of products on the market, and it can be difficult to tell which ones are worth your money. You can find a dupe for almost anything, but that doesn’t always mean the quality is the same. While drug store products can generally get the job done, sometimes a higher-end beauty product is worth the extra cash. To make your life easier, here’s a list of the top 10 high-quality beauty products that are actually worth your money:

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Perfector
If you have oily skin, or your makeup just tends to slip in the summer humidity, this is a must-have. It has a creamy texture and can be applied anywhere on the face to smooth out makeup and remove shine. You can also wear it underneath your makeup to prevent it from coming off throughout the day. At $55, it’s a high-quality product that you can throw in your purse all summer long.
Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation
My personal favorite foundation, the Kat Von D Lock-It foundation gives flawless full coverage. It’s a little pricey — you can find it for $35 at Sephora stores — but it gets the job done better than any drugstore foundation that I have tried. I don’t use this for every day, and it can feel a little heavy in the summer, but I save it for nights out or special occasions when I want my skin to look perfect. If you’re going to splurge on a foundation, let this be the one.

Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer
Everyone gets blemishes or has imperfections on their face every once in awhile. It’s a good idea to invest in a concealer that can give you full coverage, even on your worst skin days. Tarte’s Maracuja Creaseless Concealer is great for covering redness or dark under eye circles. It costs $25 and can be found at Ulta or Sephora. A little goes a long way with this concealer, so while the product may come in a smaller package, it will last a long time and is definitely worth the price.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palettes
If you are going to spend money on eyeshadow, you are going to want a palette that’s versatile and has a variety of shades. Urban Decay’s Naked eyeshadow palettes come in neutral shades that look good on just about everyone. They have four to choose from, all with a variety of colors to create different looks. If you want eyeshadow that can be used for day or night, try Naked Smoky, a palette that can easily transition from light daytime eye makeup to a dark smoky look at night. All of their palettes are $54, but the shades are highly pigmented and blend seamlessly. If you aren’t ready to shell out that much just yet, try one of their Naked Basics palettes — smaller versions at a lower price.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer
Having flawless eyebrows can take your look to the next level, but it is not always easy to achieve. Anastasia Beverly Hills is a brand known for their high quality brow products. From brow pencils to gels to brow tools, this brand has it all. A standout product, however, is the brow definer, which came out last year. The brow definer is a brow pencil that has a wedge shape at the tip to help you better fill in your brows. As someone who has struggled with this, this product has been a lifesaver and works better and is easier to use than any other brow product I have tried. It costs $23, which isn’t crazy expensive, but is definitely more pricey than drugstore brow products. If you are like me, however, and still searching for that perfect brow product, this is it!
