Signs You Are in Love
Love is an incredible feeling, but hard to define. Sometimes you just know when you know. There is no set deadline or time frame to fall in love; most of the time it comes unexpectedly. But there are definitely a couple ways to know if love is in the air.
While signs vary from person to person, here are a couple popular signs that you are falling for your significant other:
Uncontrollable laughter
If you are good looking and can keep me laughing, I am bound to fall for you. Laughter in a relationship ensures trust and allows you to be yourself without fear. If you find yourself constantly having a good time and laughing together, you may be falling for one another.
Silence is golden
Sometimes being speechless is okay. You can chat with anyone, but it is hard to sit still and enjoy another person’s company. Silence allows you to take in the moment and appreciate one another without pressure. Appreciate the little moments together so that bigger things can come.
Missing you
If you miss another person’s company, it may be a sign that you are developing feelings. When I first started dating my boyfriend, we hung out all the time, and the first time I went away for a weekend felt weird. I found myself missing him and that is the moment I knew I really cared for him. If you find someone on your mind when you are away, think about how you truly feel about them. Could it be love?
Crystal ball
Can you see a future together with your significant other? If so, real feelings may come into play. When you are just casually dating, you don’t expect to fall in love. But when things get more serious you start to think about a potential future together. Don’t be scared by this, let it come naturally and accept it if it happens.
The butterflies
Yes this is cliche, but sometimes you know you are in love because you get giddy inside anytime you see that someone special. This feeling can be overwhelming, but in the best way ever. It makes you feel like you are in a teenage dream. Let the butterflies in and love hard.
Love is love. It is an incredible feeling that everyone deserves at least once in their lifetime. No matter your race, gender or anything else, you should love whoever makes you feel like the best version of yourself. Love is beautiful so spread it, don’t spread hate.
