What’s your Flavor?
This fall, social media has been buzzing about a new pumpkin spice trend on the rise: pumpkin spice condoms. Some may question the craze, but most people can’t help but love this seasonal delight. But don’t get too excited, Durex has already ended all rumors and killed all our hopes and dreams.
Durex released this statement on their Twitter account:
We've heard talk that we launched a Pumpkin Spice condom. We can't claim this one, but we do love it when people spice it up in the bedroom.

So now that all condom lovers are blown by this recent let down, we are going to have to put our focus elsewhere. As they say, there are plenty of fish in the sea. There are also plenty of flavors on the market.
A ton of flavors can be found at various drugstores across the United States. These flavored condoms usually cost about the same as normal condoms. So why not try something new and spice things up in the bedroom?
Although pumpkin spice is out of the question, here’s a few flavors that may excite you:
- Tropical: There are so many fruity flavors to pick from, why not go with one that combines a handful. Bring back summer this fall and get laid with this island delight.
- Bacon: Meat on meat, interesting. I am not the biggest bacon fanatic, but I know most of America is bacon obsessed. Good news is that this flavor does exist in the condom world. Just stay away from the temptation to eat it up!
- Chocolate: Some love chocolate covered bananas, others love chocolate covered ding dongs. If you’re not the fruity type, this chocolate condom may be calling your name. So now you can look forward to more than just a box of candy.
- Honorable Mention: Glow-in-the-dark condoms. This condom isn’t flavored but it’s a ton of fun! This glow stick will light up your night.
Warning: Read the Fine Print
There’s a few things you need to keep in mind before using flavored condoms. It’s essential to read the fine print on every wrapper. Some flavored condoms may cause irritation and are solely meant to promote safe oral sex. So double check for your and your partner’s own good. Don’t tarnish your flavored condom experience over one preventable mistake. Don’t get caught up before you read up!
Maybe one day pumpkin spice flavored condoms will make an appearance. But until then, enjoy these other fun, crazy flavors. Don’t forget, safe sex is great sex, but better wear (flavored) latex!
