Fresh at the Circle
In a little more than a week, Autumn will fall upon the DMV. As the leaves change colors the variety of produce available at the Dupont Circle farmers’ market, managed by FRESHFARM Markets, grows.
You can have your choice of fresh beets, apples, eggplants, broccoli, pears, winter squash, kale, radishes and more. Produce isn’t the only thing available to market-goers.
“Other than produce we have artisanal gelato, bakers and picklers,” said Nikki Warner, FARMFRESH Markets’ market manager at the farmers’ market in Dupont Circle. “We have the lady that makes soap and a lady that sells wool from her lambs. You can buy different varieties of yarn.”
There is also beef, pork and flowers for sell. There is something for nearly everyone, except your dog. Dogs aren’t allowed in the market so leave your pup at home.
