Wines FLO at FLOFest D.C.
Festivalgoers let the wine FLO this past Labor Day while enjoying music, literature and food. FLO Brands founder and jazz musician Marcus Johnson held the first FLOFest D.C. at St. Elizabeths East Gateway DC pavilion Monday.
Attendees had their choice of a selection of red and white wines from FLO Wine‘s Red Blend, Seven Sister‘s Sweet White and House of Mandela’s Pinotage to name a few. After the wine, patrons could chow down on seafood rolls from Luke’s or dishes from food trucks like Jamaican Me Crazy, Crab Cab and Captain Cookie.
The crowd enjoyed tunes and live music from the likes of Sylver Logan Sharp and Johnson himself while checking out the vendors’ spaces.
The event also featured a cooking demonstration of a pasta dish by celebrity Chef Huda who competed on ABC’s The Taste.
