If you’re anything like us, you’ve been paying close attention to NYFW and taking notes on the latest runway trends. It’s hard not to lust after these amazing pieces and dream about one day having one just like it in your closet! If you’re headed somewhere that requires an incredibly chic look and you really want to leave a lasting impression, consider making some of the runway looks your own. The mermaid silhouette definitely did not fall short on the runway. Monique Lhuiller provides us with a dramatic version of this satin dress in a deep wine color, shown above.

A gown with an A-line shape is always a classic option. Pamela Rolland wowed us on the runway as usual with this strapless gown and her amazing Fall 2013 collection.

Ralph Lauren is known for his timeless pieces shown at fashion week. Here he takes on a strapless velvet gown with a full ruffled skirt. The elbow-length gloves add even more class and grace to this already stunning look.

Last but not least, this Zac Posen fitted strapless gown is a definite winner. Coming close to the pantone color of the year, this dress is a fabulous reminder that simple is sometimes the best way to go.
