It was the event to attend in DC last week.
Fashion blogger Meaghan Moynahan, the face behind Giving Labels A Meaning (G.L.A.M.) proves that fashion and helping those in need is always in style.
Meaghan organized a charity event complete with a runway show and local boutique sale at the Hillyer Art Space in Northwest DC to benefit CASA DC (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and its 10-year anniversary. Attendees were still buying up tickets that day! The area was bustling during the two-hour event as people shopped, enjoyed cupcakes and refreshments and took advantage of the raffle.
An intimate fashion show brought some of the gems from local DC shops front and center. Each of the models’ looks was available immediately for sale afterwards.
Vendors included Gigee Marie, Carnelian Boutique, Annie Cream Cheese, Violet Boutique and 3 Sisters Fashion. All proceeds were donated to CASA DC, a cause Meaghan volunteers for. Shopping to help others in need… what better feeling when opening your wallet?
The turnout was such a huge success! However, if you missed it, another G.L.A.M.-orous night is already in the works! For more information about G.L.A.M., click here. Or if you’d like to learn more about CASA DC, click here.
