We will hear remarks from notable Thursday Network leaders from the past 20 years, including the Greater Washington Urban League’s President & CEO Maudine R. Cooper, who is also the creator of D.C.’s Thursday Network.

Attendees will be treated to a wine-tasting event catered by Vino Tasting Events and Kustom Desserts as the celebration is orchestrated by DJ Ceace of Crown Kings Inc.
Ticket sales from the event will support Thursday Network’s Empowerment Academy at Woodrow Wilson High School in Northwest Washington. The Empowerment Academy is a mentoring program that pushes high school students to discover ways to empower themselves and their communities.
