It’s the only hair show where bigger is better… colors can clash and the winning stylist and model walk away with $1,000 cash money.
The 19th Annual Golden Scissors Awards — themed “Hair GaGa… Taking Beauty to the Xtreme” — is a staple in worldwide extreme hair competitions (yes, they really do exist) and it happens this Sunday, December 5 at the Washington Convention Center.
The show was founded by legendary hair stylist Glynn Jackson, who has for more than 20 years traveled the world producing some of the most fabulous hair and fashion shows anyone with a hot comb and a dream has ever seen.
“The Golden Scissors Awards was created as a local, national and international platform for hairstylists to showcase their work and push the envelope of creativity,” said Jackson. “This year, the [show] will encompass the best of the best moments of Golden Scissors Awards history.”
