Stay cozy during chilly weather with the help of fair isle sweaters.

Geez it’s been cold outside but let’s hold off on the winter coat for a little longer please! Instead, bring out those sweaters – and start searching for cable knits, brights and patterns to keep you warm. Patterns like fair isle sweaters! These are a great sweater option to turn to for the chilly temperatures. I’ve seen an abundance online and had to share my top picks. All at affordable prices, of course.

American Eagle, $49.95

I rarely keep American Eagle on my radar anymore- but I’m loving this version of the fair isle sweater. Bonus: it’s reversible! So, essentially you’re getting a BOGO deal!

ASOS, $61.57

How cute – and a little preppy – is this one?! I was immediately drawn to this sweater because of the reindeer. I love it so much, I’m anxiously awaiting its arrival at my door. I will of course be wearing this around the holidays. Layering with chambray, leggings…. oh the possibilities!

Old Navy, $42.94

Old Navy has really been staying ahead of the fashion game. Add some leggings, a wide belt and flats with this sweater and you’re out the door. Maybe even staying in for a night of Lifetime movies and popcorn. (Or is that just me??)

While cable knit sweaters are still fantastic (and everywhere already), fair isle sweaters breathe a little more life into your sweater collection – and mine. I found several more options on ASOS and other sites if you want to look further.
