Happy boxing day! With Christmas over, sugar plum fairies have now been replaced with visions of New Year’s. If you are still looking for things to do, check out these dining options and remember that your food related resolutions do not officially start until January 1st!
Blue Duck Tavern
On December 31st, Blue Duck Tavern will host two seatings at 5:30 and 8:30. For $75 and $100 respectively, the two seatings will include a three-course menu with choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert. Wine and Champagne pairings also available for extra.
The holiday feast will be prepared by Executive Chef Sebastien Archambault and Chef de Cuisine John Melfi.

Masa 14
In honor of the new calendar year, Executive Chef Adam Goldman will be adding new and exclusive dishes to Masa 14’s New Year’s eve dinner. Start off with a Lobster Salad, served in endive cups with lobster aioli and citrus aioli, or a Shrimp Cocktail with beet cocktail sauce. Bring in the New Year right with Peking Duck Two Ways, grilled and confit served with pickled red cabbage, cotija and scallions.

El Centro
El Centro is offering three dining options on New Year’s Eve. From 5-6:30 PM, patrons can enjoy for $35 a prix fixe menu which includes beer or margarita and a choice of appetizer and entrée. Second seating time (6:30-9:30 PM) includes same dining options for $45. For the last seating time at 9:30 PM, guests will groove to a DJ set and toast in the new year with a free glass of champagne at midnight.
Here are some of the menu options:
Ceviche Azteca in piloncillo citrus broth, calamari and red snapper
El Centro Steak Asado, a NY strip served with moro rice, pasilla sauce and avocado
Chipotle Shrimp, chipotle, black bean puree, market vegetables and white rice.
