Feather Skirts Are Perfect For The Holidays

Happy Thursday! I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving and scored major deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I don’t know about you – but my wallet needs a break. However, I’m willing to take my wallet back out of hiding to purchase a feather skirt. These beauties have been all over the place and I am drooling over each one.

I never thought I’d see the day where feathers would be on skirts – and that I’d adore it. What I love is how the layered feathers look so whimsical and feminine. They’re also pretty transitional: perfect for an upcoming holiday party or New Year’s Eve or dressed down a bit with a striped long sleeve boatneck tee.

In order to pull this look off without looking crazy, keep the feathers to a neutral color like black or cream/nude. That way you can add color with heels, jewelry, a jacket or belt. If you’re dying to get your hands on one of these skirts – I did some research and found affordable feathered beauties here and here in dress form. There’s also an easy DIY feather skirt you can try.
