I have recently received a few questions at anna@inkcosmetics.com for some much needed beauty and style dilemma’s. I thought some of these probably would do a little better answered on a public forum since they are common concerns.

Q.  I am a shoe addict but money is pretty tight these days.  How can I get great shoes without breaking the bank?

A:  My all time favorite bargain shoe store is DSW.  The trick is to go straight to the back and hit the sale racks first.  Also, become a member of your favorite stores for extra perks.  The majority of them are free!  I used my DSW rewards ($10 coupon) on these Jessica Simpson Sandals which brought down the sale price to $49.00.

Another good practice is to look for winter shoes in the Summer.  I got these Coconut Wendi Boots for only $39.94.

Q.  I am loving all the color trends I see in the magazines but I am not sure how I can pull it off at work?

A:  EASY! Go for the accents!  Most professional environments won’t let you get away with this…

When you are in a work environment you are expected to dress a little more formal.  So, try wearing a pop of color when choosing your accessories; not an entire outfit.  Look for colorful belts, watches or purses to add to a classic black suit.  Or try a brighter lip color with clean fresh make-up.

Q.  I am starting to see the fine lines and need to up my anti-aging regimen but I have sensitive skin.  What do you recommend?

A:  Chanel Hydra Beauty Serum ($80) is on the high end of the spectrum but the results are amazing.  No breakout, no oily feeling and leaves your skin feeling plump.  I also love Olay Total Effects Sensitive ($17.50).  It provides a light, non-greasy moisturizer, blends pale/uneven skin tone into a nice healthy-looking color, and doesn’t ‘fill in’ the crinkles & wrinkles like a foundation does!

We love to help!  Please keep these questions coming! Thanks for following!
