It’s all in the presentation
Dolcezza describes its food as “artisanal gelato” and that’s fairly accurate considering they’re mixing simple flavors in a big way. They opened a new location just two weeks ago in Fairfax, VA. I was immediately drawn in by the sleek and modern decor. All dark wood cabinets and steel counter tops with white highlights–it was like being in someone’s revamped kitchen rather than a restaurant.
Simply delicious
They use locally grown ingredients, no artificial flavoring, and a lot of their product being handmade each day. So it’s no wonder every mouthful of their gelato and sorbetto was packed with high-notes of flavor. Flavors like Meyer Lemon Vodka, Cranberry Apple Cider, Madagascar Vanilla Bean, and Salted Carmel sound simple but taste complex without being overwhelming.
If you’re ready to experience dessert (or an anytime snack) in a new way you’ve got to check out Dolcezza located at 2905 District Ave. Fairfax, VA. You can’t miss the bright, airy eye-catching storefront on the corner.
